Personal Life

Dr. Warnick grew up near Elkins, WV. She met her husband, Dr. Stephen “Spike” Warnick while in dental school. After graduation, they decided to move to the Greenville, SC area. While living there, Dr. Warnick worked in several different dental practices, gaining valuable experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.

After the birth of their two children, Cooper and Leila, the couple felt a strong urge to return to West Virginia to raise their children near their families. In 2010, Dr. Warnick purchased Dr. Conley’s, a retiring dentist, in St. Albans. She was soon joined by her husband and their dental business partner, Dr. Todd Semder.

When she’s not working, Dr. Warnick’s priority is being with her family. They love spending the day outdoors, hiking, riding bikes, boating, snowboarding, or camping. They also enjoy cooking meals together. When she’s able to grab some time for herself, Dr. Warnick enjoys running and yoga.

Dr. Todd Semder

The best part of being a dentist is the time spent with patients. As a dentist, I get to build relationships with so many people on a day-to-day basis and continue these relationships through the years. Being able to provide people with gentle, leading-edge dentistry, and have that provide them with confidence in their smile, is a small repayment to the loyalty and trust they place in me. Born and raised in this area, Todd and his wife Beth, who’s a nurse from Ripley, WV, moved to Florence, SC. After the birth of their daughter, Addy, the couple wanted to return to their roots and moved back to West Virginia. Soon after, their son Noah joined their family. Dr. Semder became an instant part of the dental family and a welcome partner in what is now Warnick & Semder Dentistry.

Outside the practice, you’ll most often find Dr. Semder with his family. He also enjoys a good round of golf and fishing when he has the time.
